Dermatologist (MD/DO) Dermatology Nurse Practitioner (NP) Physician Assistant (PA-C)
General & Medical DermatologyPosition Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated MD/DO/NP/PA to join a busy dermatology practice focused on general and medical dermatology. The provider will work collaboratively with board-certified dermatologists to provide comprehensive skin care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and management of a wide range of dermatologic conditions.Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat common and complex dermatologic conditions (e.g., acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, dermatitis, infections, benign and malignant skin lesions)
- Perform full-body skin examinations and skin cancer screenings
- Conduct minor dermatologic procedures, including biopsies, cryotherapy, electrodessication, and excisions (based on experience and training)
- Assist with and/or manage follow-up care for patients undergoing skin cancer treatment, including surgical cases
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and patient education
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Collaborate closely with supervising physician(s) in accordance with state regulations
- Participate in quality improvement and clinical protocols as needed
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program MD/DO/NP/PA program
- MD/DO Derm Board certification. NP/PA 1-2 years experience
- Active or eligible for state licensure
- Strong clinical, procedural, and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume clinical setting
Preferred Skills
- NP/PA experience with dermatologic procedures and surgical assisting
- Familiarity with EMR systems
- Interest in skin cancer detection and management
- Cosmetic dermatology experience is a plus
